Do not bear left onto 281. Go straight through the next light (by Footie's Freez Ice Cream). Keep going over the railroad tracks, straight through the next traffic light (by Mobil and Food Bag), past the cemetery (on your left) take the next right onto Route 215 (also known as Owego Street) heading towards Virgil and Greek Peak. Cross over the railroad tracks by Paddy's Pub (NOTE: They serve Guinness Beer, one of our favorites...!) and take your next left onto Scammell Street. Beaudry Park is right there, on the right-hand side of the street.

Take Route 13 to Dryden. Go straight at the Main Street intersection where Route 13 becomes Route 38. Go a mile or two (three?), and on your left (just before Acme Pest Control...yes there really IS one, it's not just on the Road Runner show....and just before or after a T-Cat "bus hut" by a hill) there will be a road called Keith Lane. Turn left onto Keith Lane. Go to the stop sign at the end and make a right onto Lake Road. Once on Lake Road, take the next RIGHT (goes down a small hill), and you will be heading towards the Dryden Lake Park.

Take Route 13 to Dryden. Turn right at the Main Street intersection (basically, stay on Route 13 towards Ithaca) . As you go up the hill to leave Dryden and head towards Ithaca, you will see the Dryden V.F.W. on the right - it's about 2 (?) miles from the traffic light (if that). They have a HUGE parking lot, so bring LOTS of friends!

Take 13 North through Cortlandville, bear left onto 281 North. Follow 281 through Cortland and after you pass by TOPS and Hollywood Video take a right turn onto Groton Avenue. Go past KFC and Burger King and follow the road through the next 2 traffic lights (past the optical care building, Byrne Dairy and Groton Ave. Liquors) and at the THIRD light (by the tire place) you need to get into the left lane and make a left onto Homer Avenue. Follow Homer Avenue through the next three traffic lights (at Madison, W. Main, and Wheeler) and Easy Street will be on your right across from the P & C shopping plaza. IF you go up over the bridge and into Homer, you've gone too far!

Take Route 13 north to 366, and when you get to Freeville at the 4-way stop, turn left onto Route 38 and proceed to Groton. (There should be signs for Groton.) After you pass the High School (on your left side), the road curves around to the right (past an ice cream place that has a caboose...) and comes to a top sign. At the stop sign take a left. Farrell's will be on your left after a gas station and a supermaket. It is in the "downtown" section of Groton, almost to the main intersection by Dempsey Insurance Agency. If you reach the Main Intersection (just before the road goes down hill), you've gone too far. Farrell's has a neon shamrock in the window.
From Cortland:
Proceed down Groton Ave from Main Street area towards Route 281, go straight through the traffic light at the 281 intersection.....past the Cortland Co. Airport (on your left)....straight to Groton (on Rt. 222). At the stop sign in Groton, take a left and Farrell's is on the right just after Dempsey Insurance. They have a neon shamrock in their window.

Take Route 281 North to Homer. Go straight through the traffic light at the I-81 intersection. At the NEXT intersection (just after the Homer high school and the Homer cemetery), turn left (at the traffic light by the gas station) onto Route Co. Route 90. While traveling on Route 90, look for signs for the golf course, and at Route 54 (Tollgate Hill Road), bear right (North) and proceed on Rt. 54 until you reach the gold course.

Take a right at the light, go to the end of the street, take a left onto Main Street (also known as Route 11), and go straight through Homer's downtown district. The Pine Grove Inn will be on your left just as you exit the town of Homer, just look for the bar lights in the windows! Note: If you pass under the I-81 bridge you have gone a bit too far, and are heading to Little York.

Just past the NEXT traffic light, you will see Pomeroy Place on your left (almost across from the old Pomeroy School , which is now apartment building). Hey, on your way there, you might want to stop for a cup of Cortland's BEST coffee, at one of our favorite drive-up coffee shops in Cortland (on the corner of Port Watson and Pomeroy), called COFFEEMANIA. (Terry recommends a large LATTE with sugar.)
